The Manufacturing Engineer role involves developing and implementing efficient, cost-effective manufacturing processes that meet high-quality standards. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll play a key role in bringing new products from concept to production, ensuring they meet both customer expectations and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Lead and support cross-functional project teams from concept through production launch.
- Analyze equipment and workflow to maximize resource utilization.
- Design and implement automation solutions and custom tooling.
- Participate in DFM, DFA, and pFMEA activities.
- Create process documentation including flow diagrams, BOMs, and work instructions.
- Conduct IQ/OQ validations and support product/process qualifications.
- Train technicians and operators on new equipment and processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement new technologies.
- Present data-driven insights to support decision-making.
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably within plastics or medical devices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience designing custom fixtures, tools, and automation solutions.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
