Graphic Designer Job at Ports North in New York

We have partnered with our client in their search for a Graphic Designer (Contract-To-Hire).

Responsibilities

• Design and prepare staging, signage, and large-format graphics for client's annual international conference and year-round peer events, ensuring brand alignment and flawless production execution.
• Create and update marketing and communications assets such as print collateral, PowerPoint/Word templates, and digital graphics for web, social media, email campaigns, apps, video, and digital signage.
• Coordinate with print vendors, oversee production specs and bids, manage file organization on shared platforms, and support administrative needs including invoice submission, file sharing, and special project assistance.

Skills Required

• Minimum of a few years’ experience in graphic design and production across both print and digital media, including at least 2 years focused on staging/large-scale signage design.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and strong typographic skills, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools on a Mac platform; motion graphics and Adobe XD/Canva experience a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to balance multiple simultaneous projects under tight deadlines with strong organizational, communication, and vendor management skills, while maintaining a calm and professional presence under pressure.

Education & Work Experience

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3+ years of Professional Work Experience
