Hire Type: Embedded / Exempt
Pay: $41-$55/hr ($85,271-$114,712/year),
Schedule: In-office 4 days/week, remote Fridays

Business Analyst

Overview:
We are seeking a Business Analyst to support financial planning and reporting for new business projects. This role emphasizes financial analysis over data analysis, with responsibilities in capital budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compile, analyze, interpret, and present complex financial information
- Generate monthly capital reports
- Develop capital budgets and forecasts for new business initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making
- 2-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, audit, or project controls
- Advanced skills in financial reporting, modeling, analysis, and forecasting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Preferred: Experience in the energy sector (natural gas/pipelines, storage, or process plant development)
- BA/BS/BBA in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel
- Working knowledge of Oracle ERP, OACS, PowerPlan, Smartsheet, Power BI, ETL processes, and databases
