- Schedule: Outpatient clinic Monday to Friday, 36 hours of ambulatory patient care per week, flexible between 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM; call rotation every 4th or 5th week (one full week at a time); hospital visits for new consults on weekdays, rounding on Saturday and/or Sunday
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide 70 percent oncology and 30 percent benign hematology consultative services
- Manage cases involving both solid and liquid malignancies, as well as benign hematology
- Deliver 100 percent consult-based care in both outpatient and inpatient settings
- Participate in a rotating call schedule, covering new consults on weekdays and rounding on weekends as required
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
Additional Information
- Active nurse practitioner license required in Indiana
- Board certifications in Hematology and Medical Oncology required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Experience in hematology and oncology preferred
