Job Description: dentsu is looking for a Senior Manager of Integrated Media Planning with solid media expertise to help maintain and grow one of our large integrated media businesse s. While experience from a total cross channel offline and online perspective will be a benefit, the c andidate that will be successful in this role will have experience in performance media, particularly in all things digital – social, display, native, search, programmatic , and video. You will be a key member of the team and a point person to our clients. This role will be very hands-on and involved in the day-to-day of this account. In addition, you will be a crucial contributor in areas of agency development and growth – from training to new business pitches, etc. As a Senior Manager of Media Planning, you are responsible for ensuring that communication strategies are effectively converted into plans as well as leading the development and implementation of those plans. In partnership with the senior leadership, you will help in setting the strategic tone for the account/within your assigned division. You are expected to have a strong working knowledge of the media landscape especially performance digital media. Managing client relationships is also a key component of this role. You will report directly to the Senior Directors of Integrated Planning. Key Responsibilities: Accountable for media plan output timeliness, accuracy, and overall excellence in support of various client’s line of businesses

Participate and help lead the strategic media planning/execution and serve as a resource for senior Integrated Planning, Client Service leads as well as activation and analytics teams.

Demonstrate ability to utilize resources (syndicated, proprietary, analyst data) to help guide client’s marketing goals and apply to strategic recommendations

Work closely with activation department leads to outline appropriate processes and timelines to ensure flawless execution

Understand and adopt new techniques and technologies that are relevant for clients’ media strategies

Provide relevant insight and input into existing and emerging media opportunities (through awareness of available media services vendors)

Build & maintain trusting, collaborative relationships with clients at appropriate levels and overall comfortability with being client-facing

Accurately represent the client’s point of view when developing/reviewing work, leverage this perspective when providing feedback to team and presenting to client

Capable of effectively managing up and down the reporting structure

Provide and discuss industry information on media, markets and related dynamics

Participate and construct client reporting deliverables ( i.e. weekly, monthly ), analyzing data sets from cross channel pers pective to inform how total line of business strategy evolves forward.

Train, motivate and develop media planning group as staffed team continues to grow

Construct and deliver accurate , honest and timely performance management documents

Billing and budget management across all lines of businesses, ensuring both activation teams and financial operations teams are following client’s desired invoicing and billing process

Qualifications 4-6 years of integrated media planning experience

Experience in performance digital media and current knowledge of trends and innovations in digital media

Proven leadership skills and management experience

Working knowledge of Insights tools across dentsu portfolio ( Merkury I nsight Tool, Merkury Planner) and / or other tools such as MRI and Simmons and competitive tools like Nielsen Ad Intel and/or Kantar Strategy

Experience with Media Tools and buying platforms such as DDS, Media Ocean (Prisma) , Spot Toolkit

Solid understanding of DFA, and other digital media related tools (comScore, eMarketer, Forrester etc. )

Proficiency in use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.

#LI-Remote #LI-JK1 Additional Information: The annual salary range for this position is $68,000-$110,000 . Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
