Marshall Dennehey, a leading AM Law 200 civil defense law firm with more than 60 years of dedicated service to our corporate, insurance and individual clients, is seeking an Associate Attorney with five (5) to ten (10) years of litigation experience to join our growing Workers’ Compensation Department in Roseland, New Jersey. This is an exceptional opportunity to litigate a variety of workers’ compensation claims involving high-exposure, complex litigation. Common claims include repetitive trauma, occupational disease, death and hearing loss. We represent clients across industries including construction, manufacturing, technology, health care, retail, education and more. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical, writing, research and communication skills. Our Roseland workers’ compensation team provides a diverse, inclusive, open-door environment where colleagues collaborate to proactively and innovatively defend our clients. While it is not immediately expected that the candidate will independently manage their own cases, under our tutelage and mentorship, the candidate will develop the necessary skills to manage a case from inception through resolution. Responsibilities

Assist in litigating workers’ compensation claims and develop skills to manage a case from inception through resolution under mentorship. Contribute to defense strategy, research and writing, and analysis. Collaborate with a diverse team in a supportive environment to effectively defend clients. Qualifications

Five (5) to ten (10) years of litigation experience, preferably in workers’ compensation. Strong analytical, writing, research and communication skills. Willingness to develop case management skills under supervision and mentorship. Salary and Benefits

Salary range: $125,000 - $175,000 The posted salary range is based on legitimate, non-discriminatory factors set by the Firm.
