The Role at a Glance
We’re excited to bring on a Senior Associate Actuary, Life & MoneyGuard Pricing to play an integral role in pricing and analyzing Lincoln’s hybrid Long Term Care portfolio of products. You will direct, develop and perform complex actuarial analysis to drive pricing decisions that meet profitability, risk and sales goals.
What you'll be doing
Build and maintain pricing models in MG-ALFA to conduct pricing and financial analysis for Lincoln’s hybrid Long Term Care products.
Provide pricing analysis for existing products and evaluate feasibility of new products or features to support market expansion.
Analyze risk and summarize key findings for senior leaders to drive strategic pricing strategies.
Collaborate with ERM, valuation, product and inforce management to ensure pricing strategies meet profitability, risk and sales targets.
Partner with the Centralized Pricing Model (CPM) and Quality of New Business (QNB) teams to validate and improve pricing models.
Provide actuarial support for state product filings and objections, including development of LTC rates and loss ratios.
What we’re looking for Must-haves:
5-7+ years of experience in actuarial science related to the responsibilities of this position.
FSA designation or ASA designation with additional years of actuarial experience.
Excellent communication, collaboration and analytical skills.
Undergraduate degree or 4+ years of comparable work experience; concentration in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, or Statistics is preferred.
Nice-to-haves:
MG-ALFA experience.
LTC product knowledge, including hybrid LTC.
Life insurance product knowledge including variable universal life and universal life.

The pay range for this position is $108,501 - $195,900 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package. The role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on performance. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln's standard benefits package.
