Chipton-Ross is seeking a Production/Inventory Coordinator B for a contract opportunity in North Charleston, SC.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): •Regular and predictable attendance is required. •Receiving clerk experience. •Warehouse operations experience •Shipping, receiving experience.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support the flow of production following standard work instructions. Monitors work in process. Communicates status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods to insure parts availability. Identifies and solves problems or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using established procedures or processes. Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays. Works under general supervision. Day to day: - Warehouse operations, shipping and receiving. - Data accuracy, math and attention to detail is important for this position.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): •Forklift certification is a plus. •Aerospace experience. •Hazardous materials experience is a plus (will train). •Dangerous goods certification is a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: •Must be able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours, lift up to 35 lbs and climb ladders.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: •High school diploma or GED and typically 1 or more years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. **Education MUST be accredited**
WORK HOURS: Full-Time Contractors must be able to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift. Shift dependent on business need.
