We’re seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the creation of innovative digital products that will impact millions of customers and drive the success of our digital strategy. In this role, you will transform complex workflows and information into intuitive user experiences. Leveraging your expertise in Design Thinking, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, facilitate discussions, develop concepts, run design sprints, and build rapid prototypes to harness collective creativity. About The Role As a Senior Product Designer, you will collaborate with designers, engineers, and product managers to develop innovative features and refine workflows, enhancing the digital experience. You will demonstrate a strong perspective with the ability to present a design vision and strategy through sketches, storyboards, high-fidelity mock-ups, and prototypes. What You Bring To The Team A strategic mindset with a systems-thinking approach to simplifying complexity. A strong perspective and the ability to advocate for design and inclusive experiences effectively. Proven experience collaborating cross-functionally and delivering successful products. Ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines while adapting to shifting business priorities. Deep understanding of Design Thinking principles and best practices. Hands-on experience with Design Sprints and Customer Journey Mapping. A holistic problem-solving approach, considering multiple perspectives to craft well-rounded solutions. A history of mentoring and guiding designers. A self-motivated, organized individual who can identify and self-initiate their priorities and continuously seeks improvement. Required Qualifications And Skills 5+ years of experience in Product Design or related fields. 5+ years of experience working collaboratively with product, engineering, design, content and user research teams. Demonstrated experience shipping products across platforms and across geos as a designer, while coaching others through the process. A bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Interaction Design, Fine Arts, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Appreciation for all forms of design and how they collaborate—interaction, visual, content, motion, and research. Expert proficiency with Figma, Miro, usertesting.com, Dovetail and other relevant domain software consistent with industry standards. Strong portfolio showcasing a range of projects demonstrating your design process, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Strong systems thinker with experience defining patterns, style guides, performing user testing, and building low and high-fidelity prototypes. Solid understanding of software development and how to collaborate with developers. Self-starter with exceptional time management and organizational skills with laser-sharp attention to detail and accuracy. Solid communications skills and ability to influence stakeholders across the organization. Preferred Qualifications Service Design and Service Mapping experience. Identified and set platform strategies, envisioned complex user interactions, and inspired teams to push the boundaries of what’s possible. Can communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization. Preferred experience working in a financial services industry, especially consumer lending. Location:
This role is Hybrid. You should be located within a commutable distance to one of our offices located in New York City, NY, Wilmington, DE, Baltimore, MD, Charlotte, NC, Fort Worth, TX or Irving, TX with expectations to be in the office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Salary:
Target base salary range for Baltimore, MD and New York, NY $115k-$145k, which is based on various factors including skills and work experience. Benefits:
