2026 Associate Product Support Engineer/Product Support Engineer with Security Clearance
Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Product Support Engineer/Product Support Engineer. This position will be located at our Aeronautics Systems sector in El Segundo, CA, Redondo Beach, CA, Palmdale, CA or Rancho Bernardo, CA. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Product Support Organization. The selected candidate will perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Other duties include: Plans and executes schedules for engineering design package development and release to meet mission needs Technical impact assessment, planning and strategy for change implementation Gathering of data, requirements development, interfacing with suppliers, and performing basic stress and tolerance analysis Acting as manufacturing liaison during build process of projects to ensure overall quality, delivery, and cost objectives are achieved Development of test plans and performing environmental testing of Support Equipment Testing and integration of manufactured Support Equipment Basic knowledge of design and analysis tools for mechanical design as well as basic drafting skills to include a working knowledge of solid modeling techniques (NX, Pro Engineer, or Catia). Basic Qualifications for an Associate Product Support Engineer (T01) include: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a STEM field Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance Experience with 3D modeling tool Familiarity with Microsoft suite of tools Basic Qualifications for an Product Support Engineer (T02) include: Master's degree OR Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a STEM field Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance Experience with CATIA and familiarity with the TeamCenter release tool Understand all aspects of equipment development Experience with engineering, manufacturing, and development life cycle Familiarity with Microsoft suite of tools Preferred Qualifications include: Overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher Previous internship/co-op or other work experience Leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills Knowledge of aircraft maintenance and Support Equipment Ability to understand engineering challenges The pay range for this position is $67,400.00 - $101,000.00 for an Associate Product Support Engineer and $81,300.00 - $121,900.00 for a Product Support Engineer.
