Temporary Risk Management Specialist

Clean Harbors . This is a temporary position that will last at least 8 weeks. Responsibilities
Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times Conducts proficient investigation, evaluation and negotiation of significant claims arising out of auto liability and general liability to ensure proper reserving and payment Maintain effective diary system and document claim file activities Perform administrative functions such as filing, check requests, payment/expense tracking Auto Claim Duties: Contacts claimants and other insurance carriers to assist in setting up claims when directly contacted by the 3rd party Prompt investigation and management of claims arising out of auto liability and general liability claims Knowledge and understanding of US liability laws and litigation process Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers Experience in reviewing and setting claim reserves based on severity and jurisdiction of the claim Qualifications
2 years college or specialized training 3+ years of experience in a similar role Demonstrate solid verbal and written communication, negotiation, organization, and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Provide excellent customer service to internal and external Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Access, Word, Excel, and Outlook) About Clean Harbors
