Johnson Brothers' Business Analytics and Insights Team is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional interested in an entry-level position focused on data analytics. This role will work closely with sales teams across multiple states to ensure pricing strategies are accurately implemented and that profit margin optimization tools are analyzed and actioned effectively.

This role will also be able to learn from and have exposure to Business Analytics and Insight's other teams, including Master Data Management and Performance Management Analytics. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in pricing, analytics, or commercial operations.

Key Responsibilities: Data Entry and Validation

Maintain and update pricing records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Assist in the development and maintenance of pricing tools and templates.

Pricing Actions

Support Business Analytics and Insight's Pricing Team and Sales Teams to execute pricing strategies. Analyze margin optimization reports to identify trends, errors, or opportunities for improvement.

Teamwork and Communication

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve pricing discrepancies and support margin improvement initiatives. Proactively reach out and engage with Sales and Trade Development teams to resolve issues. Support ad-hoc pricing and margin analysis requests from branch and regional leadership. Document pricing processes and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Ad-Hoc Assignments

As needed by business demands, can be assigned to different projects

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business (Finance, Economics, etc), or STEM field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Nice To Have:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI. Familiarity with ERP or pricing systems. Data Modeling experience (SQL, etc).

Location: St. Paul MN, hybrid 3x a week in office

The expected pay range for this role is $50,000 - $71,899. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Actual placement within range will be contingent upon several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, education, experience, internal equity, union status (where applicable) and alignment with market data.
