The Manager - HRIS

is responsible for the day to day and oversight of the HRIS structure. The primary focus of this position is the oversight, development and support of the configurations, project plans and day to day maintenance of the human resource management system (HRMS) in addition to other systems supported by the HRIS functions. This gig is based at VVHQ - Virgin Voyages Head Office in Plantation, FL where a hybrid work environment is followed. Collaboration Days are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with remote work on Mondays and Fridays. This position serves as a technical point of contact for assigned functional areas and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The HRIS Manager also implements and supports HRMS upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned. This position is solely responsible for all Shoreside (Workday) data and configurations. What You'll Be Up To

Considered the system owner and decision maker on processes and management of all Human Resources (HR) systems Shoreside (Workday) systems, supporting 500+ employees Responsible for the administration, configuration and maintenance of all HR systems Management of project plans for implementations and configurations for departmental key stakeholders, external departments and vendors Key point of contact for HR system support company-wide Liaison between HR and Information Technology (IT) on any system related initiatives Develop, design and maintain all system training plans and system launch information Projects and process improvement recommendations to streamline internal processes by identifying workflows and exploring innovative approaches Reporting configuration and analytics for HR-based metrics Prepare materials and facilitate training for system related launches or enhancements Identify ways to design and configure internal HR systems that challenge industry standards of technology Maintain a high-level working knowledge of updates and enhancements in system-based products used at Virgin Voyages and monitor competitor innovations Other duties as assigned SuperPowers Required

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work 7+ years of HRIS or HR Generalist or Specialist experience 3+ years of experience with Workday HCM, Payroll, Recruitment, Absence & Benefits required Experience with HR terminology, regulations, operations, procedures, requirements and practices Workday Certified highly preferred 1 - 2 years of project management experience System configuration and implementation experience a must Strong working knowledge of system speak and HR workflows Strong problem solving and with a creative and innovative approach for solution thinking Excellent communication, both verbal and written Highly collaborative in a team-based environment as well as ability to work independently What Matters To Us
