Full-time Location:
Remote (US) The Role We’re hiring a hands-on Core Product Designer to own key user experiences across our mobile app and web surfaces. You’ll partner directly with founders, PMs, and engineers to ship high-impact features, iterate with data, and bring craft and clarity to complex systems. What You’ll Do Lead end-to-end design for new and existing features (mobile first, with responsive web) from discovery to polished delivery.
Translate ambiguous problems into clear flows, wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready UI in Figma.
Instrument, review, and interpret product metrics and user feedback; iterate post-launch for measurable impact.
Write crisp specs/requirements and collaborate tightly with engineering on scope, states, and edge cases.
Raise the bar on visual polish, interaction quality, and accessibility; maintain coherent design systems.
Work across glamorous and “unsexy” surfaces with equal enthusiasm—no ego, sleeves rolled up.
You’ll Thrive Here If You Have 3–8 years designing for external users, with
strong mobile app work
and demonstrable web experience.
A track record at Seed–Series C startups (or similarly fast-paced teams with strong design culture).
Depth in 1 to 5 iteration: improving live products, not just 0→1 launches.
Comfort designing in ambiguity and making logical, defensible design decisions.
Research & analytics fluency
What You’ll Bring (Qualifications) Portfolio showing mobile-first consumer UX, shipped work, and before/after impact.
Proficiency in Figma (components, variants, prototyping) and modern design workflows.
Clear product thinking: problem framing, hypothesis setting, experiment design, and outcome measurement.
Excellent written communication—able to create specs that unblock engineering.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (US-based preferred) or equivalent practical experience.
How We Work Builder mindset, fast feedback loops, high ownership.
Data-informed, user-obsessed, and pragmatic about scope.
We value clarity, candor, and kindness.
Interview Process (Typical 4 Steps) Intro screen (30 min)
Portfolio deep dive (systems thinking + craft)
Working session with PM/Eng (requirements & iteration)
Final conversation (team fit, logistics)
Compensation: $135,000 per year
