Drive a 10% reduction in scrapped units in the 26ml, 10ml, 3ml manufacturing lines Lead multifunctional teams for the development of new high speed automated equipment for the manufacturing of medical devices Act as an authority on development, fixing, and maintenance of high speed automated equipment Analyze product designs for manufacture, assembly, and serviceability Develop, complete, and document FMEA, process validation, and testing following cGMP guidelines Ensure safety, quality, delivery and cost metrics are monitored and managed to meet site goals Oversee safety procedures and address potential safety concerns, including proper use of PPE Collaborate with BD production, engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to meet goals Communicate performance goals and requirements identified by management Lead CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) to address systemic issues in manufacturing and quality systems Education and Experience

BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Technology, or related Engineering field, or equivalent experience Experience in FDA-regulated environments 5+ years of experience managing capital and automation projects across concept to launch, with a track record of investment justification and tracking Strong Project Management skills using MS Project and SharePoint Strong interpersonal and communication skills across levels in a global organization Experience developing USR, FAT, SAT, CSV, IQ, OQ, PQ Validation Protocols 10+ years of hands-on experience in Controls and Automation Engineering Hands-on experience programming and maintaining automation with technologies including robots (FANUC, ABB, Stäubli), Rockwell Software, servo motion controllers Experience with advanced process control, Ethernet/IP/TCP-IP networks PC software programming experience (C++, C#, SQL Server, Visual Basic) preferred Vision systems development with Cognex and Keyence RFID and Barcoding software, printers, and readers Electrical and Mechanical Design

Ability to create and interpret schematics, 3D models, and mechanical drawings Design of controls panels and electrical BOMs Experience with high-speed plastic component assembly, ultrasonics, RF welding, UV systems, and dispensing Six Sigma training and experience preferred English and Spanish bilingual highly desirable Work Environment
