Ready to shape the future of resilient communities? Verdantas has an immediate need to fill a mid-level civil engineering position. As a member of our team, the successful candidate will perform a variety of Civil and Water Resource planning and design tasks for projects requiring the following skills/experience: Foundational experience as a project engineer producing final design products and study analyses and deliverables Good communication skills with staff and with internal and external clients Good organization habits, time management, and budget management Good record of project successes as demonstrated by repeat business from one or more clients Good references Client relationships are a plus, but not a requirement; we’ll consider candidates from outside our area willing to relocate What you bring: BS degree in Civil Engineering PE Registration in California, or ability to obtain CA registration within 1 yr 4-8 years of experience in the water resources field Experience with GIS, AutoCAD, and Civil3D is required Potable drinking water experience Additional capabilities desired but not required include: Water supply design (pipelines, pump stations, storage tanks, etc) Levee design Hydrologic/Hydraulic modeling (HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HEC-FDA, InfoWater, etc.) Salary Range: $115,000-$145,000 Benefits: Flexible Work Environment
