Q2 is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst for our Engineering Development group based in Austin, TX. The ability to effectively communicate with Clients, Developers, and Management will ensure a successful career with our growing team. Responsibilities: Communicate with clients to elicit, document, and guide requirements and project workflows Create use cases and/or report specifications for approval by clients and the Development team Effectively communicate with Management and project teams across the organization Gather specifications from clients and third party vendors Ensure that all security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy policies and controls are adhered to Assist and mentor teammates to provide leadership and evangelize best practices Experience and Knowledge: Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant degree and a minimum of 8 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 6+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience Financial industry experience with in-depth banking knowledge Excellent communication skills Good interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Motivated by providing excellent customer service Passion for technology Desire to join a winning team, prove yourself, and ramp up quickly Preferred: Experience contributing in an Agile development environment Preferred: Familiarity with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system Preferred: Experience with MS Visio or equivalent software Preferred: Informal or academic experience with software development This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
