Are you a creative problem-solver with a knack for turning ideas into reality? We're looking for a Junior Designer to join our team in Itasca, IL! If you're passionate about product design and eager to learn, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills in a hands-on environment.
In this role, you'll help develop innovative new products and improve existing ones, focusing on efficiency and quality. You'll be a key player in ensuring our products meet client needs and are manufactured cost-effectively.
What You'll Do: Bring designs to life: Create detailed drawings using AutoCAD and get them approved for prototype development. Team up for success: Work closely with our Sales, Project Managers, Purchasing, Prototype, and Production teams to ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish. Master the details: Communicate project specifications, including materials and build instructions, to our Estimator. Learn the ropes of manufacturing: Help generate CNC programs and input material requirements into our ERP system (JobBOSS). Solve problems: Answer questions from shop employees and offer technical guidance. Innovate and improve: Propose ideas to make our processes better and save costs. Stay in the know: Keep up-to-date on material options and market trends to optimize project outcomes. What We're Looking For:
