Overview
Amazon Development Center Taiwan is looking for an energetic, smart-working, and creative candidate to join our operation team in Taipei. Responsibilities
Supplier Management
– Own supplier (ODM/OEM/JDM) relationship and manage business escalations; lead supplier (ODM/OEM/JDM) selection and contract negotiation; provide overall management and support for all business negotiations, covering cost, supply, and all vendor funding agreements; conduct regular business reviews with suppliers to ensure continuous improvement on scorecard performance; establish a competitive sourcing environment leading to continuous improvement in quality, cost, service and technology. Cost Management
– Manage cost (non-material charge and NRE) from project RFQ through end of life; identify and implement cost savings opportunities; maintain a strong knowledge base to define should-be non-material charge/NRE and drive actions for business negotiations with suppliers; be familiar with leading RFQ activity and have the ability to close the deal under financial guardrails. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
– Experience in procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration or operations; Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field; experience in strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis. Preferred Qualifications
– Experience in program, project, product management, or leading a product implementation process; experience in data centers, infrastructure service providers, or related technology companies. What We Offer and Policies
