The candidate will perform Application Production Support activities as part of the Equity Derivatives eTrading application support team. This role combines providing real-time support for Equity Derivatives eTrading systems with contributing to broader strategic initiatives. The candidate will play a critical role in ensuring system stability, monitoring application performance, and facilitating smooth interactions between IT and the Equity Derivatives business (traders and sales). Role and responsibilities Provide proactive and reactive support for Equity Derivatives applications. Manage real-time incident resolution to minimize trading disruptions. Collaborate with development and product teams for system improvements. Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures. Develop monitoring tools and perform regular system maintenance. Address performance bottlenecks and coordinate resolutions. Serve as a technical interface for traders and business users. Maintain documentation and share best practices within the support team. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or Quantitative Finance. Minimum 4+ years of experience in front office application production support to the business on atrading desk. Technical proficiency in FIX protocol, SQL, Linux and scripting. Strong understanding of equities markets, trading systems, and Order Management Systems (OMS). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure. Clear verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on documentation. Proven ability to manage and resolve risks and issues affecting production and end-users.
