Boeing's Exploration Systems Supply Chain

team on the

Space Launch Systems (SLS)

program supporting

Exploration Upper Stage (EUS)

in

either New Orleans, Louisiana or Kennedy Space Center, Florida.

This role will fill a critical need to support schedule acceleration and execution to meet the needs of our NASA customer. This position will work closely with key EUS suppliers, SLS Program Leadership, and Supply Chain Leadership.

Position Responsibilities:

Provides technical and business guidance to critical suppliers and programs Leads strategic supply chain activities to manage work with suppliers and program Manages all aspects of supplier and stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phases Leads supplier assessments and the development of recovery plans, corrective and preventative actions Leads the development of company or business unit procurement strategies Provides oversight, guidance and verification of work movement projects Communicates supplier and organization performance plans risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholders Manages work movement plans This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position requires the ability to obtain a clearance for access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Technical Bachelor's, Master's or a PhD degree. (A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study) More than 5 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services More than 5 years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

More than 5 years of experience working in development environment in Engineering, Supply Chain, Program or Project Management More than 5 years of experience managing troubled suppliers More than 5 years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.)

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 50% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $128,350 - $158,550
