Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT certification and experience in neuro and peripheral interventions for a 13-week inpatient/outpatient assignment. Responsibilities Work in an inpatient/outpatient IR department featuring 4 angio suites, 1 CT suite, and 1 pain clinic Day shifts, 4x10 hours (7:30 AM - 6:00 PM) Monday through Friday with a rotating day off Possible weekend coverage is required Regular call is required: one primary call shift per week and one primary call weekend per month with a 30-minute call back time Patient population includes those requiring neuro and peripheral interventional procedures Candidates must work at least one holiday per 13-week assignment and two holidays if the assignment covers winter holidays Local candidates are not accepted if they reside within 100 miles of the facility based on Driver’s License address Travelers who live 50-99.9 miles away may be considered for one 13-week assignment with no eligibility to extend Previous employees must have been separated for at least one year to be eligible to return as a traveler Travelers are generally not eligible to return for assignments after working a total of 365 days, with possible exceptions subject to review Paid orientation modules and Epic EMR training are included, with hours allocated based on specialty Requirements Current ARRT certification (CV or VI; VI preferred) BLS (AHA) required Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology High school diploma or equivalent required Graduate of an approved School of Interventional Radiology preferred Experience in neuro and peripheral interventions required Virginia state license preferred; any state license accepted (emergency authorization available while VA license is processed) Active license required if applicable Submission of two professional references for consideration Copy of Driver’s License and Social Security number required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-604599.
