Position Summary:

As our Master Planner, you will be the strategic architect of our production operations, responsible for establishing, distributing, and managing comprehensive production plans and schedules for short and long-range manufacturing. You will define and implement our master production strategy, coordinate schedules across multiple product lines, and ensure optimal resource utilization for our precision interconnect solutions. This role requires expertise in planning all production components, assemblies, raw materials procurement, and outside processing coordination. You will be directly accountable for delivery performance and customer satisfaction in our high-mix, low-volume aerospace manufacturing environment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration

5-7 years of operations management experience in aerospace/high-reliability manufacturing environment, with demonstrated expertise in forecasting, scheduling, and real-time operations management

Advanced proficiency in MRP System software (preferably Syspro), LYNQ, SQL/ESQL, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Workspace

Extensive knowledge of manufacturing practices and techniques in aerospace/mil-spec environment, including understanding of AS9100 quality requirements and compliance standards

Previous supervisory experience with ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive results through influence

Strong understanding of accounting principles relating to product costing, expense budgeting, inventory management, and working capital optimization

Highly proficient in data analysis, advanced Excel modeling, report writing, and KPI development

Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills with ability to interface with customers and senior leadership

Are You Our Next ACE?

Develop and manage integrated Master Production Schedule (MPS), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), and Capacity Planning (CAP) processes to optimize manufacturing flow and achieve delivery commitments

Create tactical production plans using Syspro and LYNQ to meet customer demand while balancing manufacturing capacity constraints and material availability

Establish weekly supply/demand analysis protocols, identifying risks and opportunities for the next 3-6 months with actionable mitigation strategies

Drive achievement of corporate inventory turn targets through strategic inventory management and working capital optimization

Monitor production performance against plan, identifying gaps and implementing corrective actions with measurable KPIs

Coordinate with manufacturing supervisors and production teams to ensure seamless execution of weekly and monthly production schedules

Implement input/output control reporting to optimize production floor status and resource allocation

Make reliable delivery commitments on make-to-order products by analyzing uncommitted materials and capacity availability

Provide weekly updates to sales teams on schedules, issues, and plan versus actual execution performance

Interface directly with customers on delivery schedules and proactively communicate any potential impacts with recovery plans

Lead implementation of lean manufacturing principles and best practices in production planning processes

Develop and validate optimal Syspro and LYNQ system configurations for maximum efficiency and accuracy

Drive stockroom process improvements including receiving, kitting, and material flow optimization

Contribute to cross-functional initiatives supporting business growth and operational excellence

Generate comprehensive reports on service levels, schedule performance, inventory strategy, and resource utilization

Perform capacity analysis during sales and operations planning cycles to support strategic decision making

Calculate accurate production lead times and maintain real-time visibility to material availability and production status

Pay Transparency:

Winchester Interconnect Corporation is committed to pay transparency. The pay range for this position is up to $90,000 annually. Exact salary will be contingent upon your experience, education, skills, and any other factors Winchester Interconnect Corporation considers relevant to the hiring decision.
