The Seasonal Inventory Control Specialist will assist the Receiving and Inventory Control Specialist (RICS) in managing inventory effectively. As a vital player in our team, you will ensure that our sales floor is well-stocked, enhancing customer experiences and supporting our sales objectives. You will collaborate with the RICS to streamline merchandise flow to the sales floor and maintain inventory accuracy, ensuring the timely processing of necessary documentation and keeping the stock room organized and clean. Key Responsibilities: Embrace and enhance a culture focused on service and sales, exceeding expectations to build lasting customer relationships. Accurately process all incoming and outgoing inventory. Verify that merchandise deliveries meet company standards for compliance and accuracy. Prepare merchandise for the sales floor, ensuring adherence to company ticketing and signage guidelines. Attach EAS tags to products before placement on the sales floor, following Loss Prevention protocols. Efficiently input freight information into the appropriate systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Execute returns (RTVs), orders, transfers, re-tickets, and markdowns swiftly, in accordance with company policies. Maintain a high level of productivity, aiming to meet units per hour (UPH) targets. Keep the stock room organized and compliant with all company and state guidelines. Abide by local, federal, and state laws as well as company policies and procedures. Perform any other duties assigned by management. Exhibit professionalism in communication, attitude, and teamwork with customers, coworkers, corporate partners, and vendors.
