Elk Grove Village, Illinois Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to join our team in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying custom Salesforce solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce technologies, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components, as well as experience with third-party integrations and automation tools. Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce technologies. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Apex code; maintain automation (Flows, Process Builder) and triggers to automate business processes following Salesforce best practices. Manage, maintain, and enhance integrations with critical third-party applications, including Titan Forms, Sage Intacct, SharinPix, and Arcsite solutions. Build and maintain workflows, process builders, flows, validation rules, and custom objects. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver solutions in a timely manner. Ensure data quality, system security, and compliance with Salesforce governance standards. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing Salesforce configurations and integrations, perform system maintenance, and provide ongoing technical support. Participate in code reviews, testing cycles, and deployment activities. Stay up to date with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices to ensure our platform remains modern and effective. Document existing Salesforce processes, builds, automations, triggers, and future enhancements. Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related IT discipline; or equivalent experience. 5-7 years of Salesforce development experience. Proven proficiency in Apex code, creating triggers, classes and batch processes, SOQL, SOSL, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components. Proven experience integrating Salesforce with external systems and APIs. Familiarity with Sage Intacct, SharinPix, and ArcSite integration or similar solutions is recommended but not required. Understanding of Salesforce platform, security and data models, governor limits, and performance optimization. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification, App Builder, or Administrator. Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. Ability to work with Salesforce Community Cloud or other collaboration tools. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
