Base pay range
$150,000.00/yr - $175,000.00/yr We are seeking a results-oriented finance and operations leader to drive financial planning, operational efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration at Hawaiian Host Group. This role reports to the Chief Financial Officer and partners with the Chief Operating Officer, Operations and Supply Chain teams to align financial strategies with operational goals and support profitability, sustainability, and long-term growth. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Financial Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts for operational functions; monitor performance, identify trends and opportunities for improvement; ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and corporate policies; provide insights and recommendations on cost management and investments; implement best-practice programs, budgets, and financial systems to enable plant and general managers to run their business units efficiently. Technical Capability: Possess a deep understanding of Operations Finance in a Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) environment, including manufacturing accounting, budgeting, metrics, cost savings, and complex project cost analysis; manage capital projects and portfolio planning in partnership with the Head of Engineering; apply Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or Lean Six Sigma methodologies to drive improvement and cost savings with Supply Chain and Operations teams; have strong procurement and end-to-end supply chain knowledge; leverage ERP, data warehouse, and develop world-class metrics with the Operations Leadership Team. Operational Collaboration: Partner with Operations leadership to optimize resource allocation, supply chain management, and production efficiency; establish and monitor KPIs to assess operational effectiveness; lead cross-functional initiatives to reduce costs and improve processes. Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team; foster collaboration and a culture of accountability and data-driven decision-making; act as a liaison between Finance and other departments to ensure alignment on priorities; oversee site controllers to ensure consistency in financial practices. Strategic Planning: Drive long-term financial planning and risk management; analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decisions; support mergers, acquisitions, and other growth opportunities. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Adhere to company policies and procedures; uphold high standards in all responsibilities. Fulfill additional duties or projects as assigned; demonstrate flexibility and proactive problem solving. Regular attendance is required for the position. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s/MBA preferred). CPA or CMA certification is a plus. 8+ years of progressive experience in finance, including leadership roles in operations-focused environments. Strong understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, farming, or food production industries is highly desirable. Proven ability to lead financial planning, analysis, and process improvement initiatives. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in financial software and tools (ERP systems, Excel, Power BI). Strategic thinking with a strong analytical mindset; leadership and team development capabilities; results-driven with a focus on continuous improvement; strong project management and organizational skills; collaborative and adaptable to dynamic environments; ability to present information to the Board and Executive Leadership.
