Measure product dimensions using tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Compare products against blueprints, schematics, and work instructions. Document inspection results accurately and report nonconformance issues. Approve or reject products based on inspection outcomes and company standards. Tag, isolate, and communicate about nonconforming materials. Support production teams by identifying quality issues early in the process. Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and measurement equipment. Assist in root cause investigations and corrective action processes. Follow all company safety rules, quality procedures, and standard operating practices. Communicate with supervisors, leads, and production teams about inspection results and quality concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe inspection area at all times.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications in quality control a plus. Previous quality inspection, manufacturing, or production experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify small defects and inconsistencies. Basic computer skills for logging inspection results and using quality tracking systems. Ability to use basic measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.). Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks. Clear verbal and written communication skills to document and report findings. Strong work ethic with a commitment to safety, accuracy, and teamwork. Willingness to learn and adapt to new quality standards and procedures.
