Financial Rotational Program Summer 2026- (Hybrid- Seattle, WA)
Nordstrom’s Finance Rotational Program is an accelerated development program offering three unique rotations across our finance organization, supporting our core retail business units & functions. In just three years, you'll have the ability to accelerate into a senior financial analyst role, while building a deep understanding of our retail business and a strong foundation of financial skills and competencies. We look to our FRPs as the future finance leaders of our organization. The ideal candidate to enter our FRP in a first-year rotation is motivated, results-oriented and committed to providing outstanding customer service every day. This individual will assist in preparing financial models and reporting, and by serving as the primary day-to-day financial subject matter expert of the business unit you support. We are hiring for this role now but the start date for it will be in August 2026 just so you are aware. This role is hybrid and would require you to be in office 4 days per week in our Downtown Seattle, WA location. Examples of Potential Rotations: Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis Supply Chain Finance Technology Finance Digital Finance Merchandising Finance A day in the life… Understand and apply fundamental concepts, general administrative principles, practices and procedures of finance and accounting Assist with development of financial models to address business needs Create and analyze period financial reporting to ensure accuracy and insight Help identify and present trends and opportunities to support management decisions Maintain strong relationships with business partners Assist with the annual budget process and support business and finance partners to ensure plan meets designated Company timeline, desired outcomes and financial targets Support month-end close, forecasting and variance analysis Ad hoc reporting, projects, and analysis You own this if you have… BA or BS degree 1+year of related financial experience, can include internship experience Excellent analytical and communication skills Experience in financial modeling and analysis Commitment to customer service and high-quality deliverables Fluency in the Microsoft Office Suite, primarily Excel and PowerPoint and experience with Cognos and/or Essbase (preferred) Must be willing to relocate to Seattle, WA to be considered and committed to the 3-year duration.
