5-7 years of experience in Workday security design and implementation. Workday Security certification required. Proven experience in large-scale Workday implementations, preferably global in scope. Strong understanding of Workday's configurable security framework. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and make decisive recommendations. Excellent communication and documentation skills.
The Workday Security Lead will be responsible for designing, configuring, and overseeing all aspects of Workday security for a Workday HCM implementation. This includes user-based, role-based, and domain security group configurations, as well as business process security policies. The role requires close collaboration with client and KPMG teams to ensure secure, compliant, and scalable security architecture across all in-scope modules.
Responsibilities:
Lead and co-facilitate security workshops. Design and configure Workday security architecture, including. Role-based and user-based security groups. Domain and business process security policies. Segmented security for sensitive data (e.g., compensation, leaves, documents). Advise client's internal security team on Workday-specific security configurations and documentation. Coordinate with technical and functional leads to align security design with overall system architecture. Support testing phases by resolving security-related defects and validating access controls. Ensure compliance with client's broader cybersecurity requirements, including SSO, MFA, IDAM, encryption, and firewall rules. Provide knowledge transfer and training to client.
Qualifications:
5-7 years of experience in Workday security design and implementation. Workday Security certification required. Proven experience in large-scale Workday implementations, preferably global in scope. Strong understanding of Workday's configurable security framework. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and make decisive recommendations. Excellent communication and documentation skills. A minimum of five years of Workday Financials implementation and upgrade experience. Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college/university preferred. Completion of one full implementation with Workday Financials and Workday certification in Financials. Strong verbal, Documentation and analytical skills. Detailed understanding of ERP System concepts and general module functionality.
