1st Shift Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Waukesha, WI | Full-Time, 1st Shift | Pay: $17.50/hour
Job Summary
We're looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our 1st shift team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our shipping and receiving operations, ensuring all incoming and outgoing goods are handled efficiently and accurately. Schedule
Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Responsibilities
As our Shipping Clerk, you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks, including: Receiving & Unloading:
Unload and sign for all incoming trucks and deliveries.
Verification & Inspection:
Verify shipments against packing slips to ensure accuracy, inspect items for any damage, and document any issues.
Storage & Inventory:
Maintain accurate inventory records using a handheld scanner and our inventory software. You will also be responsible for assigning and organizing storage locations for new products.
Shipping & Logistics:
Support the shipment of finished goods, report any defective materials, and make sure there is an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand.
General Duties:
Keep the work area clean and safe at all times.
Requirements
Previous experience in a shipping, receiving, or warehouse environment is preferred.
The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. is required.
Familiarity with inventory management software and handheld scanners is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
