Heritage Pointe of FW is seeking a reliable and detailed-oriented person to join our Floor Technician team. We are looking for someone with the ability to work independently and be a part of a dynamic team while maintaining a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic. This is the perfect position for a motivated individual to join a growing team of property management professionals. The position is part-time and can occasionally include after-hours or weekends.
Essential Job Functions
Floor Maintenance : Maintains attractive and clean floors by sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, stripping, waxing and buffing floors on a regular basis. Carpet / Rug Maintenance:
Cleans and shampoos on a regular basis as outlined in floor care schedule. Baseboards:
Cleans and maintains baseboards throughout the facility. Floor Care Machinery : Operates scrubber, buffer, carpet cleaner, etc. by using safe methods and techniques. Spills:
Cleans all types of fluid spills. Care of Floor Machinery:
Ensures floor equipment is always kept clean. Supply Management:
Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to the supervisor. Reporting:
Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the management promptly. Resident Interaction:
Interact courteously and respectfully with residents, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally. Adherence to Policies:
Follow all health and safety regulations and community guidelines to ensure the well-being of residents and staff. Flexibility:
performs activities related to ensuring a clean and safe environment as directed by supervisor. Job Qualifications:
Experience:
Previous housekeeping experience preferred, particularly in a residential or healthcare setting. Skills:
Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work independently. Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds, standing, bending, and walking for extended periods. Communication:
Good verbal communication skills and the ability to interact positively with residents and staff. Availability:
Must be available to work weekends, including occasional holidays. Benefits:
