City of New York . The Department of Homeless Services (DHS) is comprised of 2,000 employees with an annual operating budget of over $1 billion. DHS is dedicated to preventing and addressing homelessness in New York City, collaborating with public agencies and non-profits to reduce street homelessness and assist New Yorkers in transitioning from shelters to permanent housing. The Facility & Logistics (F&L) division provides maintenance and repair services for City-owned facilities. The Routine Site Review Inspections (RSRI) unit ensures preventive maintenance and compliance with safety standards, working closely with DOB, FDNY, HPD, and DOHMH. The DHS is recruiting for one (1)

Associate Project Manager I . The role involves conducting field visits, coordinating activities between agencies, managing workloads, reviewing schedules and reports, monitoring work performance, advising on project needs, tracking project progress, overseeing contractors, reviewing violations, creating work orders, and participating in special projects. Work Location:

101-07 Farragut Rd, Brooklyn, NY Hours/Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 9 am–5 pm Minimum Qualifications: One year of full-time experience supervising project management work or managing a construction project valued at $1,000,000 or more, and either: A baccalaureate degree in relevant fields such as engineering, architecture, construction management, urban planning, or related disciplines, with one year of project management experience; or A high school diploma with five years of related experience; or A combination of education and experience equivalent to five years, including credits towards a degree, a Master’s degree, Juris Doctor, or a valid NYS license as a PE, Registered Architect, or Landscape Architect. Additional experience as a supervisor or project manager for large/complex projects is required for higher levels. This position is open to qualified persons with a disability under the 55-a Program.
