Expediting Project Manager (Construction)– Brooklyn, NY
Salary: $60,000–$80,000 (DOE)
About the role Lead permitting/compliance for NYC construction & development projects. Work directly with NYC DOB, Landmarks, FDNY and related agencies to keep projects on track.
Responsibilities
Manage permits, approvals, and Certificates of Occupancy
Liaise with agencies, contractors, architects, and clients
Track timelines, resolve delays, and report status
Review docs for NYC code compliance
Maintain accurate records of filings, inspections, approvals
Align expediting schedules with overall project deadlines
Qualifications
Expediting/permit management or construction PM experience (NYC preferred)
Strong knowledge of NYC DOB procedures and filings
Familiar with C of O, permits, and code compliance
Excellent communication; able to juggle multiple projects
Proficient with tracking tools/spreadsheets/filing software
