Summary:

The HRIS Analyst is responsible for coordinating, implementing, supporting, and maintaining all activities related to Human Resources software applications and other related systems and databases for the organization The HRIS Analyst serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and assists with enhancing current configuration, building new configuration, ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The HRIS Analyst also supports upgrades, testing and other technical projects as assigned. Work is accomplished by collaborating with Information Technology and user department staff, analyzing, reviewing and updating business processes, coordinating the work of staff and consultants in the implementation of HR software. This position reports to the HRIS Manager.

***Pay Range: $34.81/hr. - 45.80/hr.***

Responsibilities:

Assists the HRIS Manager by providing daily system support, testing system projects and upgrades, and documenting new system-related processes. Enters and maintains accurate and detailed data into the HR system in coordination with the HR Coordinator. Assists with maintaining the human resources information system for NTTA including collection, retrieval, accessibility, and usage of employee information for Human Resource department planning and activities. Works directly with IT staff, acting as a technical liaison between the HR and other departments, such as Payroll and Budget, and third-party vendors. Works with Human Resources staff to analyze and evaluate HRIS software and hardware needs and design new or modify existing HRIS to meet changing demands. Analyzes, reviews, and updates current business processes with best practices using Workday and legacy PeopleSoft and/or similar software. Integrates HRIS functionality with business needs. Recommends process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes, and/or major variations from established policy to be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation. Manages multiple assigned HR projects related to systems, data, process development and related issues across the full spectrum of HR support areas (e.g., benefits, compensation, risk management, training, development, performance management). Develops, maintains, supports and delivers a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Conducts data analysis to troubleshoot and identify trends. Maintains data integrity in systems by running queries, analyzing data and coordinating data scrubbing as needed to ensure reports are accurate. Develops user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Trains staff on new processes/functionality. Ensure HRIS compliance with data privacy regulations and internal policies. Assist IT with maintaining user access and security profiles, ensuring appropriate access levels are assigned. Qualifications:

Minimum:

Bachelor's degree in any field. Experience may substitute for education. Three to five years hands-on experience implementing and maintaining Workday or equivalent HR information system. Familiarity with relational databases. Preferred:

Independent judgment and decision-making abilities are necessary to apply technical skills effectively. Strong understanding of HR processes and data, including eligibility and enrollment rules, and benefit procedures to ensure correct implementation. Strong understanding of HRIS database design (relational databases and object-oriented databases), structure, functions and processes, and experience with databases tools. Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of SQL and/or Power BI tool. Governmental organization experiences preferred. Strong oral and written communication skills.
