Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 10/20/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and current ARRT, Fluoro Permit, BLS, and ACLS certifications for a dynamic role in an acute care hospital. Responsibilities Work in a catheterization lab within an acute care hospital setting Perform procedures related to coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, cardiac arrhythmias including coronary and peripheral diagnostics/interventions, and permanent pacemaker placement Handle a daily caseload of 8-12 cases Use Epic for charting Day shifts are 4x10 hours, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM No weekend shifts required Call is required Floating may occur within the hospital or to affiliated locations nearby Scrubs are provided for OR and Cath Lab staff 30-hour orientation provided prior to start Candidates must be willing to work two of the three major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year Travelers are expected to float between facilities if required Return staff must wait a minimum of 3 months before returning as travelers and may not submit if within 50 miles of the facility Free parking is available on the first day with assignment-specific parking provided after orientation Housing assistance is available for travelers having difficulty securing accommodations RTO must be approved at time of consideration Modules must be completed pre-start and annually as required The region enforces a 50-mile local radius rule Requirements Minimum of 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience required Current ARRT certification and Fluoro Permit required (pending Fluoro Permits accepted if application is submitted) Current BLS and ACLS required RCIS certification is not accepted Experience with Epic EMR required Valid CA license required if applicable Must provide at least two supervisory references from the last three years in a comparable setting First-time travelers accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-614099.
