Requirements and Qualifications: At least 1 year of experience in plastic injection molding is preferred. A High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience is preferred. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with coworkers and other departments. Basic understanding of measuring equipment, including scales. Experience with a variety of secondary operations equipment. Proficiency in reading blueprints. Commitment to safety while performing daily tasks. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Physical ability to walk, sit, stand, and perform various motions including bending and reaching. Correctable eyesight and good depth perception are a must. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds safely. Dexterity with hands is essential. Strong prioritization and multitasking abilities. Decision-making skills with limited information. Ability to perform under stress while meeting customer needs. Assembly Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct basic sorting and assembly tasks using secondary operations equipment such as pad printers and sonic welders. Inspect and document parts according to inspection instructions. Perform trimming work and assist in assembly and hand painting. Read and understand the Manufacturing Instruction Manual, including inspection instructions and work instructions. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Collaborate effectively with team members. Assemble essential components and devices aimed at improving lives. Examine components for defects to ensure quality standards are met. Utilize small hand tools throughout the assembly process. Operate machinery and assemble products. Perform repetitive tasks while standing or sitting for extended periods. Complete other tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Why Join Award Staffing?
