Creative Operations Manager - Retail
Seattle, WA – Hybrid (onsite 4x a week)
1-year contract (possible extension or conversion)
$70 - $80/hour
Join the largest coffee retail company in the country! This multinational chain is looking for a Creative Operations Manager to join its Creative Operations team. If you’re passionate about driving impactful programs, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring flawless execution, this could be the perfect role for you.
As a Creative Project Manager, you’ll oversee the signage fulfillment program, supporting field partners while managing new program and test launches across stores. You’ll also co-lead the publishing and deployment of digital menu systems, ensuring data accuracy, quality control, and seamless integration with both in-house and supplier systems.
The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of project management background, and supporting in-house creative teams. and is highly skilled at balancing multiple initiatives within tight timelines and budgets.
Creative Operations Manager Responsibilities:
Signage & Promotions Management – Oversee the creation, tracking, and fulfillment of in-store signage and promotional materials. Make sure every store has the right signage, on time, and that data about what’s in the field is accurate.
Digital Menu Content – Help manage the publishing and deployment of digital menu boards across stores, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Vendor & Supplier Coordination – Act as the main point of contact for print vendors and suppliers; manage timelines, quality control, and delivery.
Field Partner Support – Provide guidance and troubleshooting for store teams on signage and menu-related issues.
Project & Process Management – Lead projects tied to new program launches, process improvements, and system integrations; keep everything on schedule and within budget.
Data & Reporting – Maintain detailed tracking systems, manage data integrity, and use Excel to analyze and report on signage and menu fulfillment.
Creative Operations Manager Qualifications:
Strong project management experience in a large, complex (matrixed) organization.
Excellent vendor management skills (print, signage, or marketing operations experience preferred).
Vendor management experience working with Print Vendors
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field
Background in creative operations, marketing production, or retail operations is a plus.
Excel/data management expertise (must be more than just basic spreadsheet skills).
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing deliverables.
Highly analytical and problem-solving oriented, with the creativity to develop effective solutions and drive results.
