H&R Block . Note: This role is not remote and will require in-person work. The position starts with a flexible part-time schedule in the fall to prepare for the busy tax season, then transitions to full-time from January to April with evening and weekend hours as needed. Responsibilities

Provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices, guiding customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business. Serve as the front-line manager responsible for leadership and development of associates, delivering an outstanding client experience, and achieving office growth objectives for three offices. Lead daily team meetings, communicate essential information to tax office associates, and create associate work schedules across all offices with accurate timekeeping and labor management. Travel between offices as required. Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment. What you’ll bring

Manage office staffing, operations, and logistics for multiple offices with support from Associate Team Leaders. Partner with the District General Manager (DGM) to create and implement office-level growth plans and client growth targets, including developing local partnerships and managing office community involvement. Assist DGM in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions. Conduct timely performance reviews and collaborate with Associate Relations Center to address performance concerns. Build an engaging team environment across all offices through training and coaching, recognizing outstanding contributions. Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates. Prepare associate work schedules and ensure accurate timekeeping and labor management for all offices. Travel between offices as required. Your Expertise

People management experience with demonstrated ability to grow and develop associates. Aptitude for executing growth plans and leading toward a growth culture. Strong decision-making and judgment skills; able to operate in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset. Computer proficiency with MS Office. Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or high school diploma with equivalent experience. Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns). Benefits & Culture

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $40.00 per hour. Local minimum wage laws apply. Pay decisions depend on experience, education, skills, performance, and location.
