Overview

Director, Service Lines – Surgical Specialty Programs. Accountable for the strategic development and operational performance of assigned service lines/specialties across all sites of care. Works in a matrixed environment to drive care delivery improvements in inpatient, outpatient, and surgical/procedural areas. Partners with Strategy and Business Development, Regional Network leaders, MarComm, and physician liaisons to identify, assess and implement regional and national strategies. Ensures alignment of efforts with site of care leaders and academic components of the division, and collaborates with Seattle Children’s Research Institute and Foundation. Responsibilities

Provide strategic development and operational oversight of assigned service lines/specialties. Assess care delivery across inpatient, outpatient, and surgical/procedural areas; benchmark against other institutions. Identify opportunities and risks from competitive landscape; implement regional/national strategies. Drive systems, processes, and controls to support effective management and operations in a Lean environment. Collaborate with site leaders, APP Chief, clinical and ancillary leaders to ensure alignment of efforts. Partner with Department of Pediatrics and University of Washington Physicians to support recruitment and academic components. Collaborate with Seattle Children’s Research Institute and Foundation. Required Education and Experience

MHA, MBA, MPH, MSN, or related field. At least five years of progressively responsible senior management experience in a hospital or health care setting. Demonstrated experience in program and business planning. Demonstrated ability to lead in an environment of rapid change. Required Credentials

Compensation Range: $153,434.00 - $230,152.00 per year Salary Information

This compensation range is based on full-time employment (2080 hours per year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided. Disclaimer for Out of State Applicants
