Inventory Control Technician – Pasadena, TX Pay:
$25/hour Schedule:
9:30 AM – 6:00 PM, Full-Time Industry:
Chemical Plant
An established chemical plant in Pasadena, TX is seeking an
Inventory Control Technician
to join the team. This role is responsible for accurate inventory accounting including receiving, processing, recording, and distributing supplies and materials. The position also performs clerical duties such as data entry and maintaining files and records.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily/weekly inventory counts and reconcile variances.
Maintain warehouse organization to improve efficiency.
Process shipping/receiving activities.
Accurately record and track materials and supplies.
Identify and report safety and quality issues promptly.
Operate a forklift (certification required within 90 days of hire).
Collaborate with team members and communicate progress with supervisors.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent ().
2+ years of relevant inventory or warehouse experience ().
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
Ability to follow written/oral instructions and perform basic math.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, push/pull, and lift up to 50 lbs (and 25 lbs overhead).
Comfortable working in warehouse/shop environments with noise, traffic, and varying temperatures.
