POSITION SUMMARY
As the Events Operations Supervisor, you will ensure the seamless organization, setup, and breakdown of various events, always striving to provide an unforgettable experience for guests and fellow team members. This is a flex year-round position, with hourly compensation ranging from $22.00 - $25.00/hour based on experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee event operations, including scheduling and operational needs for events both before, during, and after they occur.
Collaborate with department leads to ensure flawless execution of each event.
Maintain a strong focus on safety standards and code compliance for both guests and staff.
Assist the Events Manager in staffing, from interviewing and hiring to scheduling the right number of team members for each event.
Support staff throughout their employment lifecycle, prioritizing training, retention, and providing constructive feedback.
Maintain positive relations with both guests and employees.
Participate in meetings as directed by the Events Manager.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
Experience in resort operations, event planning, concerts, recreation, or related fields is preferred.
