Summary
The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for supporting the shipping operations by ensuring efficient, accurate, and compliant handling of inbound and outbound shipments across AOI warehouse and vendor locations. This role involves maintaining material flow, preparing shipping documentation, monitoring shipments, and assisting with physical inventory.
Job Duties Organize and process all outbound shipments including creation and filing of shipping documents (packing slips, commercial invoices, shipper's declarations). Monitor inbound deliveries and coordinate customer returns and non-sales movements. Maintain material flow to ensure shipments comply with operational standards and export regulations. Keep detailed logs and records of shipments Assist with monthly and yearly stock checks and audit preparations. Support communication with vendors, carriers, and internal teams related to shipment statuses. Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding shipment handling and documentation. Achieve AOI on time delivery goal Education
High School Diploma or GED is required. Associate's degree or higher in Science, Arts, or related fields is preferred. Additional logistics, supply chain or export compliance training is a plus. Experience
Prefer 1-2 years of experience in warehouse shipping, or logistics support roles. Prefer 1-2 years of experience with SAP, WMS or equivalent Experience preparing shipping documentation and supporting export compliance is preferred. Skills & Competencies
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Basic computer skills with ability to work in fast-paced environment. Good communication skills for internal and external interaction. Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese and English preferred, but not required Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and adapt to changing production demands. Certifications
Export compliance training certificate is an advantage. Safety training recommended.
