Role Description As a Business Development Analyst at FT Partners, you will play a crucial role in supporting high-priority investment banking initiatives and publishing tailored industry research. This position is an excellent opportunity to deepen your expertise in FinTech while gaining insights into M&A, private capital raising, business development strategy, and industry research. What Makes This Role Unique? This is an exceptional opportunity to join an elite investment bank solely focused on FinTech. From your first day, you'll engage directly with C-suite executives from leading FinTech companies. Your responsibilities will include assessing product-market fit, conducting in-depth financial and qualitative due diligence, and performing comprehensive market research.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct due diligence on high-growth FinTech companies, including various valuation analyses (e.g., DCFs, public comparables, precedent transactions) across different verticals and business models. Engage with FinTech founders, venture capitalists, private equity firms, and finance executives to understand strategies, product roadmaps, acquisition interests, and capital needs. Utilize FT Partners' proprietary database and alternative data sources to identify emerging trends in the FinTech landscape. Research significant M&A and private capital raising transactions, producing high-quality, impactful reports. Develop market-facing deliverables, including sell-side pitches and analyses of investment and acquisition activity in FinTech. Support senior bankers in formulating and executing business development strategies, facilitating discussions with CEO, CFO, and Board-level contacts. Qualifications:

1-2 years of relevant experience. (No 2025 undergrads) All degrees considered; Finance, Economics, or Accounting are advantageous. GPA of 3.30 or higher. Strong interest in finance, consulting, research, and FinTech. Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills. Strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence. Collaborative, self-motivated, and entrepreneurial mindset. Strong data management and research capabilities. High attention to detail. Candidates must either currently reside in the San Francisco or be prepared to relocate at their own expense. U.S. work authorization required; FT Partners does not sponsor work visas at application or in the future. Salary:

$85,000 - $105,000
