Position Summary The Breakfast Host plays an essential role in creating a welcoming, positive start to each guest’s day. This position is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and refreshing our buffet-style breakfast service while providing friendly and attentive guest interaction. The Breakfast Host ensures that food is well-stocked, the dining area remains clean and inviting, and that all brand and safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and maintain the buffet-style breakfast area for guests (6:00 AM–10:00 AM).
Keep all food, beverages, and serving supplies stocked throughout service.
Greet and interact with guests, providing exceptional hospitality and service.
Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast and dining areas during and after breakfast hours.
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Complete required brand, Aperture Hotels, and health & safety training.
Adhere to Banyan Investment Group and Fairfield brand standards.
Perform other duties as requested by management to support smooth hotel operations.
Skills & Qualifications
Friendly, professional, and guest-focused demeanor.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Dependable with reliable transportation.
Able to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).
Ability to work independently while maintaining a positive team attitude.
Must maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance in uniform.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours.
Able to bend, reach, kneel, and lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
Comfortable using a step stool or ladder as needed.
Must have adequate hearing, vision, and manual dexterity to perform job functions.
