Sanitation Hilo Operator

Position Summary: Must have a flexible schedule This position is responsible for moving and stacking pallets, Keeping them neat and orderly at all times and loading recycling bails onto trailers. Adhering to all Baldor put away and let down SOP procedures, SQF, QC, QA and HACCP programs & policies. *Essential Job Functions: Must be able to walk and stand for long hours. Must be able to bend, lift, twist and climb. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Must be able to work in a cold environment Must be able to operate a forklift and jack. Must be presentable at all times Ability to communicate clearly Must be organized * Position Duties and Responsibilities: Operate a Hi Lo in safe manner not to damage equipment and or products or cause injury Moving collecting and stacking good pallets in designated areas Sort good pallets from bad pallets Load bad pallets on recycling trucks Moving and stacking recycling bails as needed Loading recycling bails onto trucks Doing any other sanitation function that is assigned as per supervisor or manager Communicate critical equipment and or product issues to Manager or supervisor Walk assigned work area at start of shift and inspect area for any safety hazards and report immediately to Manager or supervisor Operate assigned work Hilo equipment in assigned work area Follow department SOPs Assigned work area must be clean and organized Equipment Inspection Questions must be answered on hand held. Physically inspect equipment prior to operation. Report any issues to Manager or supervisor Report all accidents Observe warehouse safety rules while operating power equipment Follow all GMPs and food safety regulations Follow all safety regulations Adhere to, follow all company polices, SOPs, SQF, HACCP and GMP plans, programs, procedures and policies business needs may necessitate functions / duties not included on this list
