The Social Intelligence Strategist is a critical independent contributor on our Social Intelligence team. This is a role for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and energized by turning data into stories and actionable insights. You're deeply curious, fluent in social media, and passionate about exploring culture and behavior through data.

In this role, you'll own reporting deliverables, interpret data trends and present insights directly to clients. You'll shape KPI discussions, elevate storytelling and contribute to broader strategy conversations. You'll also begin mentoring associates in reporting best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Measurement, Data Analysis + Reporting Help develop and apply measurement strategies and key social metrics across social platforms, including engagement rate, reach, impressions, saves, shares, CTR, CPM, sentiment, and share of voice Pull, organize, and clean data using tools like Meltwater, native social platform analytics, and other third-party tools (e.g. Sprout, Sprnklr, CreatorIQ, Meta Ads Manager) Identify intriguing anomalies, trends and patterns in paid and organic social performance data Translate data into relevant, actionable insights and connect these back to clients' social objectives Build social reporting across formats, including monthly dashboards, campaign performance, content performance, channel health, quarterly business reviews, annual reports, content effectiveness, influencer performance and other reports as assigned Refine insight development through collaborative data discussions to elevate the articulation of insights and reporting deliverables for clients Prepare client-ready reports and summaries with senior team member oversight, and present with independence Create charts, graphs, and visuals for reports and presentations to support data storytelling and bring complex data to life in simple, visual ways Share social content performance, audience insights and channel learnings with Strategy and cross-discipline partners to inform social strategy, content strategy, channel strategy, campaign pivots and more Collaborate to establish KPIs and growth objectives grounded in data for social playbooks, campaign strategies, influencer strategies, etc. Social Listening + Research

Set up and manage social listening queries in Meltwater and conduct native platform research Identify strong social proof to support data findings and insights Analyze and interpret social data to extract meaningful insights about sentiment, conversation themes, brand mentions, etc. Conduct thematic social listening and elevate relevant conversation themes on crises, campaigns, brands, product launches and other key topics Provide insights to inform briefs and monthly content planning Partnership On Paid Social

Own paid boosting executions on key accounts and report findings Partner with Paid Strategists on measurement and reporting Identify key data points from paid analysis and elevate findings that will impact paid strategy and boosting Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Skills, Knowledge And Expertise

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics or related field 5-7+ years of experience in a social, marketing, paid media or connections strategy role with a focus on data analysis and reporting A passion for data, analysis, social media and internet culture. Data curiosity with a desire to find intriguing and meaningful insights in data. Strong data interpretation skills, able to explain the "so what" to advise clients on data-driven recommendations and opportunities Demonstrated ability in social measurement, social reporting and storytelling through data Excellent research, writing, and synthesis skills Experience with social platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.) and their analytics Commitment to quality assurance checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting deliverables Support in establishing taxonomy and implementing proper tagging to maximize data analysis Experienced user of tools like Sprout, Meltwater, Sprinklr, Brandwatch, and CreatorIQ; experience with tools for data warehousing, data analysis, business intelligence and data visualization is a big plus Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel and comfort working with and manipulating data sets Ability to clearly communicate data insights in writing and to visualize data on PowerPoint and Keynote slides; ability to clearly present and explain data and findings to clients Excitement to learn and experiment with new data tools and AI platforms used for social research, data connecting and analysis A collaborative mindset with attention to detail and follow-through A willingness to jump into new challenges to learn and grow Strong organizational and time management skills Desire to grow in a career in social intelligence, analytics or social strategy Ability to mentor associates in reporting standards and best practices *This job description is not designed to cover or encompass a comprehensive listing of required activities, duties, or responsibilities.
