Job Title: Production Operator (2nd Shift)

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Production Operator on the 2nd Shift, where you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing and assembly operations. You will work with hand and power tools, including drills and rivet guns, to construct and assemble various products.

Responsibilities

Utilize hand and power tools such as drills and rivet guns for assembly tasks.

Accurately measure and select appropriate materials required by project specifications.

Perform mechanical assembly, including cutting and riveting tasks.

Handle sheet metal and other materials, ensuring proper material handling and storage.

Follow detailed work orders and blueprints to complete production tasks.

Operate various machinery including punch presses and calipers.

Construct crates and perform crating tasks as needed.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in using hand and power tools associated with production work.

Experience in assembly, mechanical tools, and sheet metal handling.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders.

Comfortable with standing and walking throughout the entire shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in sheet metal, construction, or similar work environments.

Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and tasks.

Work Environment

You will work in a manufacturing warehouse focused on sheet metal production. The environment is not climate-controlled and involves loud machinery. Expect to stand on a cement floor for the majority of your shift, with the potential to work outside depending on job requirements.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Commerce, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
