Assembly Technician
TRC Talent Solutions is currently recruiting for Assembly Technicians for 1st shift in Pooler, GA! You will perform general assembly to meet the production and quality needs. Responsibilities:
Work with a team to assemble entire products or components Rotate through tasks for specific production processes Conduct quality inspections on products and parts Perform manual operation of machinery and/or tools such as hand tools, power tools, production tools, material handling equipment, and assembly Prepare finished products for shipment Maintain a clean and orderly work area
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Job-related experience in a manufacturing / industrial / warehousing / distribution environment preferred. Ability to perform physical and exertional tasks and meeting other essential position requirements including social and physical environmental factors Flexible schedule to work overtime, holidays, weekends and rotating shifts as required.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or other related fields Familiarity with assembly tools and equipment Ability to handle physical workload Ability to work well in teams Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Targeted Skills: Blueprint Reading/Interpretation: Ability to understand and follow assembly diagrams, schematics, and work instructions. Hand Tool Proficiency: Skilled use of various hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, rivet guns, torque wrenches, etc.) for assembly and fastening. Power Tool Operation: Safe and effective use of power tools (drills, grinders, impact wrenches, welders - depending on the specific job). Mechanical Aptitude: Understanding of mechanical principles and how parts fit together. Ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues. Fastening Techniques: Knowledge of different fastening methods (bolting, riveting, welding, clipping) and their proper application. Quality Control/Inspection: Ability to identify defects and ensure parts meet quality standards. Knowledge of measurement tools (calipers, gauges). Basic Understanding of Automotive Systems: Familiarity with the different systems of a car (engine, transmission, electrical, chassis, interior).
