Sourcing Specialist , you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing procurement and sourcing activities across multiple categories, with a focus on Corporate Services and Workplace/Real Estate Services in the

Americas region . This role supports both

tactical and strategic

procurement efforts, helping Snowflake drive

business growth, innovation, cost optimization, and risk mitigation

through strong internal and external partnerships. We are looking for a

results-driven professional

with a strong customer orientation, analytical mindset, and an understanding of category strategy. The ideal candidate can

bridge procurement goals with business objectives

to identify the best external solutions while securing competitive advantages for Snowflake. This role requires expertise in

strategic sourcing methodologies , including

market and spend analysis, category strategy development, stakeholder collaboration, supplier negotiation, and contract management . The

Sourcing Specialist

will also support key projects, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost-effective procurement initiatives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Strategic Sourcing & Procurement

Develop and execute

sourcing strategies

to optimize supplier selection, cost savings, and contract terms.

Drive stakeholder

compliance

with the Snowflake

procurement policy

and processes.

Lead and manage the

end-to-end procurement process , including

RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs , evaluating supplier responses and negotiating agreements.

Identify and implement

cost reduction initiatives

by analyzing

spend data, supplier market trends, and business requirements .

Conduct

total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis

and develop cost models to drive optimal procurement decisions.

Supplier & Stakeholder Management

Partner with

business units and FP&A

to align procurement activities with budget goals and financial targets.

Lead and support supplier evaluation, selection, development, and retention to ensure Snowflake is working with the best-in-class providers.

Conduct

Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)

with key suppliers and internal stakeholders to assess performance and drive continuous improvement.

Develop and track

supplier performance metrics , ensuring compliance with negotiated

SLAs and quality standards .

Contracting & Risk Management

Lead

contract negotiations , drafting, and redlining to secure

favorable terms

that align with Snowflake's business objectives.

Ensure

compliance with legal and regulatory requirements , mitigating potential risks in supplier agreements.

Collaborate with

Legal and Finance teams

to streamline the contracting process and manage supplier risk effectively.

Data & Reporting

Provide

strategic analysis and reporting

on current and future procurement activities.

Track and measure procurement performance to

identify trends, opportunities, and areas for process improvement .

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree

in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.

7+ years of experience

in

Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Category Management .

3+ years of experience in the

Workplace / Facilities

and or

Corporate Services (HR, Legal, Finance etc.)

category

Strong negotiation skills with a proven

track record of achieving cost savings .

Experience with

global procurement, supplier management, and contract negotiations .

Ability to work independently, manage

multiple tasks , and

drive projects

to completion.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with

data-driven decision-making

capabilities.

Proficiency in

strategic sourcing methodologies , including

spend analysis, category strategy development, and supplier selection .

Understanding of

finance/accounting principles

related to procurement.

Understanding of the core functions of procurement in a Workplace/Facilities category

Understanding of the core functions of procurement in a Corporate Services category

Ability to

develop sourcing strategies

while also diving deep into contract details.

Experience with

supplier performance management

and

QBRs .

Experience in supporting multiple categories of spend, across a global company.

Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan. The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
