Overview
The System Administrator will oversee and manage the maintenance, configuration, and operations of IT infrastructure including on-premise and cloud-based systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in O365 administration, AWS Cloud Server Management, Active Directory, Proxmox, VMware/Hyper-V, VoIP systems, and enterprise-level IT operations. This role also involves website maintenance, API integrations, software deployment, and IT security management while ensuring seamless technical support for internal teams. Roles & Responsibilities
Server & Workstation Management
Install, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers, laptops, and workstations. Manage AWS cloud servers, Proxmox virtualization, and on-premise environments (VMware, Hyper-V). Perform system upgrades, patch management, and monitor system health.
User Support & Access Management
Administer Office 365, Active Directory, SSO (Single Sign-On), and Access Work or School accounts. Manage user accounts, group policies, and permissions.
Network & Security
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues. Implement system security best practices and manage firewall rules. Maintain data backup, disaster recovery procedures, and endpoint protection.
Software & Application Management
Oversee Microsoft Software Centre deployments and application updates. Integrate calling/VoIP software with business systems. Manage internal API integrations and ERP systems (ZOHO, ODOO, Lantern, SAP B1).
Website & Service Maintenance
Maintain corporate website and coordinate updates with developers. Ensure optimal uptime and performance of hosted applications.
Support & Documentation
Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams. Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, network diagrams, and procedures. Train staff on new technologies, tools, and IT policies.
Certifications
ITIL (Required) CCNA (Required) MCSA, RHCSA (Preferred) AWS Solutions Architect (Preferred) Skills
Strong knowledge of IT hardware, networking, and enterprise infrastructure. Excellent communication and client-facing skills. Strong leadership, organizational, and team management abilities. Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Educational Qualification
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. Experience
8+ years of experience in System Administration with enterprise-level IT operations. Strong experience in enterprise-level IT infrastructure management. Hands-on experience with VoIP systems, wireless technologies, and ERP integration tools. Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools. Familiarity with ITSM practices (Change Management, Incident Management). Strong knowledge of network protocols, system security, and database management.
